    904 wheels were included in FIA homologation forms 183 and 503.

    Form 183 approved on 1 December 1965 for 911s competing in Grand Tourismo included 5” and 5.5” wide 904 wheels.

    Form 503 approved on 1.1.1967 for 911s competing in group 4 GT special included 5”, 5.5” and 6” wide 904 wheels.

    Parts 904.361.010.01 .02 and .03 for 5”, 5.5” and 6” wide aluminum and steel wheels.

    So when would 6&7in Fuchs wheels have been allowed? First factory fitting would be on 911R. The O'Neil 911 (303145) was delivered on 5.5in MY68 Fuchs for racing in late 1967 as well, implying Fuchs would have been approved close to then for use on 1967/68 911S race cars.

    20-Mar-1965, Sauton, 3. Grand Rallye National de l'Ouest car #103, 7th OA, 5th in class

    Car #103 was a 356 and not a 911.
