First rally or race options in 911...

    Hi,

which were the first rally or race options for a 911 you could have ordered from the factory?

I have a Jun 65 delivery car, which has quite an extensive race history from the period, but was ordered only with Webasto. Car was used by AAV Racing Team and they did their own modifications, but out of curiosity: Which were the first race options available from the factory?

    Thanks,
    Timo

I belive the first 911 RACE car Porsche offered to a privat person not a factory race car or to a race team but to a privat person with kardex
was the 911 S with the frisiert option that was in sep 1966…. frisiert option is a power increase using Carrera 6 technic made by Gerhard Mitter from Mitter tuning for the factory
I got one of these cars and to my knowledge and research only 5 where made from the factory in 66, but later on you could send your car back for the option, many did that , like zasada
that have this written in the Kardex but later after delivery
and later in 67 you could also get the rally and sport kit offcause
