    Decklid Grill Mounted Water Shields?

I know I’ve seen these but can’t seem to find any pictures. I’m looking for ideas for decklid grill mounted water shield plates as seen on 911 race cars over the years. I’m looking at running the ITG sausage style air filter kit but they will need some form of cover to prevent water ingestion if the car is driven in the rain.

Right now I’m planning to cut / bend some aluminum sheet to fabricate my own since the “R” style water shields (that attach directly to the induction system) won’t clear or fit over the ITG filters.

If anyone can post / point me toward some pictures of these water shields I’d appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Those are the style I think I’ve seen. They should be easy enough to make with some thin sheet aluminum and a few screws to attach them to the grill.
