    RIP Mark Morrissey

Noticed on R Gruppe Website longtime S contributor Mark Morrissey has sadly passed.

My thoughts are with his family especially his son.

Oh man! This can't be. Mark drove with me and Brian when we left the track to dive to the Hyatt. He had an oil leak and we had to keep stopping to check it off the freeway. He was so gracious that we were together and there to help. He surprised us with some snacks he bought for us at the gas station. Just being a great guy. We realized if we slowed down it didn't leak and smoke as bad. We were flying down the freeway as it wasn't too crowded when we left. It was coming from the chain tensioner line. We just charged it the whole way to the hotel in full Rgruppe style smoking and leaking the whole way. He was just the best guy!! Always willing to help a bother out. RIP my friend

    Unhappy

    I just can't believe it !!!

At Rennsport I hitched a ride with Mark from the Hyatt to the track a couple of times ...

He was a friend, and friend to this club...

My heart goes out to his wife and cherished son...

    RIP bud...

RIP my dear friend. Always a ray of sunshine even on the cloudiest of days. Mark had a way of smiling and laughing through the most difficult times. He made you feel good to be alive. He will be sorely missed.
