Pair of early 911 Knee Pads

These were recovered years ago in an amateur fashion and will need to be recovered.
They are in solid condition. Both have 2 small notches cut in them. Who knows why. I assume
This can be fixed when they are recovered. Price $300 shipped for the pair. Thanks.

I’d have to dig my knee pads out but, I think the notches were to accommodate the Behr AC vent mounting screws. With the factory AC option in the later years, there were specific knee pads called out and my theory is that even though the later foam formed pads were standard, Porsche reverted back to the early steel framed pads to support the vent mounting.
