    I do headliner after paint then dash then window. Everything else happens after that.

    Thanks. I will follow this as a a guideline. When I disassembled the car I almost took out the dashpad almost immediately, would not have thought off putting it in almost as first. Btw the headliner should go in soon. I am waiting for the call to bring the car.

    Maybe I'm missing something, SWB dash can easily go on last as the two studs are easy to get to from inside the trunk regardless of instrument installation. In any case, when installing SWB instruments, the two mounting fittings at fuel gauge and others are hard to get to (made somewhat easier when fuel tank is not yet installed so your feet have a place to go), I find it easier to rotate the gauge to get the brackets started, then level the gauge to tighten the thumb screws. I first make most if not all the electrical connections inside the car after pushing wires thru correct opening.

    @john,

    my thinking - there are just the two studs on the 2nd execution of the dashpanel, thus an easyness to have them done f.i. last, as these are reachable all the time..
