    FS: 1967 911S coupe, modified, 1QuickS

I am relocating from Oregon to Massachusetts and offering my 67 911S for sale. I bought it in 1978, sold it on BaT in 2017 and reacquired it in 2021. I built it to maintain an OEM appearance to the casual observer while delivering stellar road performance; however, it is nothing close to OEM. The 2.25-liter, twin plug engine was built by Ed Mayo producing close to 215 HP at 7000 RPM. I remanufactured and modified the Weber carburetors specifically for this engine. Leak down readings range from 1% to 5%. The body was stripped to bare metal and then assembled using lightweight parts resulting in a wet weight of 2080 lbs. The suspension is upgraded but not to a level that is unsuitable for street use.

The car’s name is “1QuickS” and rewards the better than average driver with its visceral, urgent and intoxicating driving characteristics. It drives with very nice street manners and smooth acceleration; however, it will blow your hair back! Every time you drive, it becomes an event, like Steve McQueen lighting up his 917K to battle those big, bad Ferraris at LeMans, even if it is just a trip to the supermarket to get some milk.

Check out the Summer issue of The Esses for an article regarding this car.

Detailed build specifications and photographs are available upon request. Owner Operation and Maintenance details will be provided upon sale along with a flash drive of all documents supporting the build.

Price: $125k or offers. I do want to sell it before March 2024.

    Hi Mark,

Thank you! I'd rather it go to an Early S member than some random BaT bidder.

For anyone who knows Paul's work, he is meticulous to an absurd degree. His level of care for this car no different. The new owner will be in for a treat.

Thank you Tom, you are welcome to come and polish it.

I provide the link to the referenced video. Not artistic but meant to demonstrate the driving experience. I especially enjoy driving 1QuickS vigorously due to the aural symphony, the physical feedback and the 901 gearbox; notice how it effortlessly double clutch upshifts and downshifts!!!!!
