    Scheel Lightweight GT Sliders - Replica

    +++++++++++++ SOLD ++++++++++
    I've been working on a 914GT project and have created a couple replica slider sets for that, based on original Scheel sliders. In the process I've also created an extra replica set for sale here. An original set was used as an example and all parts are fresh zinc plated. These are the later style and have all 3 later style slotted holes in the legs present and can be used on scheel bucket seats, but have also been seen on recaro rally seats. (https://www.excellence-mag.com/issue...les/olive-tart)
    On the last two pictures you can see how to identify replica's from originals, original levers tend to be a bit more elegant (left hand side) and the reuse of the lever holder that is on top of the sliders will show with some extra welds on the holes that occur because that part is drilled off and then put upside down to create the GT setup.
    I would like to get $800 for this very nice set and I'll pay for the shipping of them. (it's a set for 2 seats)

    These are SOLD

    Buyer will need to post 10 times before they can PM. Email/text info will need to be posted publicly before then.

    Hi alex, not wanting to hijack this thread, but I still have some of the DIY kits if someone would like to convert existing scheel to lightweights.

    Quick note: GT rails were never available with 3-hole adjustment. This is also slightly wider than the original 4-hole. Hope I could help a bit.

    Yes these are based on the later scheel sliders, the early small 4 holes are very difficult to find and mostly cut, as I'm sure you will know.
    The 'slightly wider part' you are talking about is only the leg part that has the slotted holes, the slider top and bottom parts exactly the same for early and later sliders.
    The slotted holes allows a bit more tolerance in mounting and are similar to the 72/73 fixed legs on the recaro sport seats.
    Most people need to cut them anyway to fit in a 911 or 914.
