Love that phrase “the dilution”! LOL. Need the water pumpers’ feeling special too I guess. It’ll be interesting to see if they can top the Mare Island venue.

That was an epic show though I admit, the sentimentality of being Ex Navy in the Bay Area might have had a bit to do with it.

Those are my thoughts, as well. Mare Island was epic and this comes from an Ex Army guy. I didn't attend the Water thing on Sunday, though.

    Ticket Sales Open

$100 to drive-in (if you are worthy); $50 to walk-in.

Got my tix and will be going - it is in my backyard. Still trying to guess the location - cannot think of anything as cool as the Mare Island venue in Costa Mesa. The way that it is being billed as 'the largest single manufacturer car event ever to his SoCal' does make me wonder about a venue with large space. The OC Fairgrounds are in Cost Mesa - doesn't seem like a cool venue by any means, but it is large? Had thought about Lyons Air Museum/Areas surrounding John Wayne, but most of that area is technically Santa Ana.

Hopefully it's a golf course or some large park and not the fair grounds, couldn't think of a much boring place.. A large parking lot.

Ganahl Lumber, could be a good venue.

As someone who travels in from out of town for these events, this always frustrates me with booking accommodations - not knowing where the event will be to line up a hotel that's convenient. Especially Costa Mesa because I have stayed at some very overpriced s&*tholes in CM in trips past
