As someone who travels in from out of town for these events, this always frustrates me with booking accommodations - not knowing where the event will be to line up a hotel that's convenient. Especially Costa Mesa because I have stayed at some very overpriced s&*tholes in CM in trips past

I would just play it safe and stay in Newport Beach

Specifically stating Costa Mesa, I can only think of the Fairgrounds as a venue large enough to accommodate the event.

Lotsa ready-made facilities there + easy-enough to access --- just not the most scenic venue . . . basically a big parking lot

And there are plenty of parks, over on the West side of town by the river . . . Fairview and Talbert Regional. And there's the Costa Mesa golf course

Guess it depends on how many people are expected

I guess they can put cars in the exhibit halls, hopefully my car is placed in Centennial Farm's barn that's on site
