Einar,
difficult as the hues are not correctly set and the pic is photoshop tuned...
Its a swb, S specs Euro, rear swaybar, so its a 66/67 built.
Of course its also a 68 with side marker delete possible.
From the color range of 66/67 I would tend to guess its slate Gray, but tend to think different and any pts color.
Any more mentioning of that car anywhere else than here

and maybe here
https://vehicle-experts.com/en/galer...swt-from-1967/
here ist is called mittelgrau metallic
"PAINT TO SAMPLE" EXTRAORDINARY COLOR
This rare Porsche 911S Soft Window Targa in the original colour mid-grey metallic was delivered on March 29th, 1967 by the Mahag company in Munich and is therefore one of 300 units built for the European market!
According to our documents, there is only 1 copy of this colour, as this shade was actually reserved for the Mercedes-Benz brand and was therefore only painted at the customer’s request.

I agree that it could be mittelgrau, although the paint in the photo has a more golden apperance, but not if the claim in the article of that particular car being the only example in mittelgrau is correct.
This Mercedes has a similar color, and it is called antracite metallic.
