hey folks, I've started looking into redoing the gauges on my 1970, and I've come across some posts saying that the '68-'71(up to roughly mid-'71, https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...re-white-in-72) gauges had ivory lettering, not pure white. that would be consistent with what I see on my 1970 (early 1970 VIN), but with the gauges in my car being 50 years old at this point, it's also very possible that they've just yellowed a little with time. a friend told me that the gauges in his '69 are definitely ivory too, but again, it's possible the paint has just yellowed over time.

I haven't found a ton of posts on the subject, though, so I'm curious to hear from the experts on here: should gauges for a '68-'71 car have white or ivory lettering? thanks!
