    What fuel pump for Webers?

    Hi,

Yesterday I had the first spring ride with my ‘69 911T.
All went well until I was back in my street when a fuel problem occurred.
    Rough running and stopping finally.
Checked the fuel pump who was not making any sound.
Setup: Facet gold-flo with filter before and filter house with regulator before Weber 40IDA’s
Pump was 2 years old and less than 7000 kilometers.
When applying current, you hear a click/chunk noise once as if it is stuck.

Question what fuel pump is suggested, as I was lucky this time(in my street) but do not get stranded again.
Any suggestions and experiences on what fuel pump for Webers?

    Thanks,
    Bart

On my 67 I've had the Facet (tall cylindrical one) for years, and on my 71 T I use the original Bosch 009. I've had that car for 25 years, and its the pump that was on it when I got it.

[QUOTE=edmayo;1176541]On my 67 I've had the Facet (tall cylindrical one) for years,

I've run the same on my 66 no issues for 10 years or so (low miles), but have had a new one go bad pretty quickly on another early 911. Fix was to give the pump a slight "tap" to get it working, but it kept failing so scrapped it.
