Why am i seeing pop up adverts on this site now.?

Why oh why are we getting the annoying pop up adverts every time i open a topic.?? Makes one's visit not very enjoyable and visit a lot less. Sure I'm not alone on this one.

I have the same question. Never saw them until today (15 Aug 2024). Adblock Plus doesn't even stop them. Shouldn't paying ESR members have the option to not see them?

^^^^ interested in your method of entry. When entered directly on my iPad, I see no additional ads. But when I go in through an email notification, I can see creep up or creep down “pop up” ads. Thus, I try to not enter the site via email notifications.

^^^^ I have the ESR homepage bookmarked on my laptop, so I usually go to it directly rather than in response to an email. I use Firefox as my primary browser, occasionally Chrome. I seldom access via phone but when I do, I use an Android.

I'm seeing no pop ups. Using Microsoft Edge on my Dell laptop.

To make sure I’m comparing apples with apples, could I see a screen capture of the pop ups you’re seeing?

Traveling for work as I write, not seeing them where I'm working. Will try again when I return home later in the week.
