    Mechanical Fuel Injection MFI Pump PED6KL 60/120 R1Z for rebuild/core/parts 1969 2.0

Bought this many years ago along with numerous other parts when I owned my 69 911S, however, I believe this one is set up for the 1969 911E 2.0
Not too sure on its value as I could only find fully rebuilt ones for sale at the moment, and they are $$$$
One of the ears is broken off, but I have the broken piece and a welder out at the airport where I work said it could be re-attached.
I removed 4 of the plates and the "guts" seem to be nice and clean with no corrosion.
Its been stored inside my hangar for the last 10 years or so.

    3 tag #'s are listed:

    PED6KL 60/120 R1Z
    EP/RLA 1/24 R
    0408 126 006

So, asking $500 shipped to lower 48 states.

    I prefer PayPal, Thanks

Interested in this pump. Can you shoem the broken off piece? Is it steel, cast iron or aluminum?

I'm not sure what type of metal, appears to be either aluminum or cast. I've attached 3 more pics, hope this helps,
One of the broken off piece, one of the position where it came off, and one with the piece in it's location, Thanks

Thanks for the pictures. Can you put a few drops of vinegar on the broken part to see if is magnesium ? It will bubble if it is magnesium.
I am pretty sure I will take it but welding magnesium is difficult.

    Hi BD,
Scrubbed the piece with dish soap and toothbrush to get rid of any residuals, dried it off and used white vinegar....no bubbles.
Kinda cool bit of science for future metal identification, Thanks, Randy
