    '. . . 1972 Porsche 911S coupe was purchased new from John Stein Motors of Wilmington, Delaware and reportedly remained with its original owner until 2014. The car is finished in Silver Metallic over black leather and is powered by a 2.4-liter flat-six equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and linked with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a front spoiler, 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, H4 headlights, a Dansk muffler, and Koni shocks. According to the seller, the engine was overhauled in 2006 and a cosmetic refurbishment was carried out in 2011. The current owner purchased the car in 2017, and the transaxle was rebuilt and the clutch replaced in 2019. This 911S is now offered on dealer consignment with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title

    . . . 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin XWX tires that show 2018 date codes and measure 185/70. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners. The Koni shocks were refurbished in 2016.

    Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle, which was rebuilt by CarParc USA of Costa Mesa, California in 2018. A replacement clutch and flywheel were also installed at that time. A Dansk muffler has been fitted, and an undercoating has been applied to areas of the underbody.

    . . . adjustable seats were reupholstered in black leather in 2011, at which time the headliner, carpets, rubber seals, and dash trim were replaced.

    . . . four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

    In picture 4, there is something attached to the nonmovable door pockets. I am curious what they are.
