What do i have?
I have found a set of 6x cilinder heads, it seems to be correct for ‘72 and 73 911S with casting number 911.104.307.1R
Can anyone confirm?

Moved to Technical. Good luck with your search for info.

Thanks Peter!
There was a thread about cylinder heads either here or on the bird's forum with someone having compiled a excel sheet of cylinder heads casting number and specs.
It ain't complete and I wouldn't want to share publicly a work that isn't mine without being able to give proper credit to the person.
Your casting number isn't listed in it though.
Given the dates and the "307" I would think this might be some "S" heads. Measurement of the intake and exhaust ports if they are original would help a lot.
Just as a reference point: 911.104.307.0R casting were 1970 "S" heads, the records I have are late 69 production (for 2,2L).
Ports measurements; Intake: 36mm Exhaust: 35mm
1972 S would be 36/36 from the file, but I don't have any prints from Porsche about this (as there were up to 1971).
Good luck
Jesse
The casting markings indicate 2.2/2.4 S heads. They should have the MFI injector holes and the stock intake port size should be 36 mm.

Thanks guys, these are indeed for 72-73 911S and for RS (although the casting dates a not correct for RS).
Yes 36mm and MFI ports
Are they 35 or 36 exhaust? For my personal knowledge
I think 35mm exhaust, but all is quite dirty/ hard to measure exact!
