    7R cases

    Does anyone know the start date for the mag cases stamped with "7R" as the final digits in the part number? I understood it to be in 1972, but in re-reading Bruce Anderson's book, I can't find when the 7R cases came into production.

    Mid 73 production in the 2.4 cars, prior to that the case halfs were updated in halves so 5R and 7R paired cases are just prior.
