glaverbel has just said there were no Shell stickers on cars prior to 1972.
Chad - your car is 71 so you shouldn´t have any Shell stickers at all.

    Shell decal

Sorry Robert, not doubting your expertise, but Shell was official "sponsor" of Porsche and Shell decals were already used and applied on airfilter boxes since 1968. The first decal was a square type of the one you are offering. After that the rectangular one came and after that the rectangular white based one with red/yellow print. All within the time period of 1968 to 1973. For example, there were early '73 RS models (incl. the proto's) with the yellow based decal and late '73 RS models with the white based decal.

Yes, will do. Hope I can find the nrs, but will do my best. Have the pics and name of the books, don't have a scanner. I will send the info; This week I'll also have contact with the factory, will ask them as well.

    Any Luck yet Tom?????
Among other things, I came across a 74 Euro Carrera and 75 (ditto) recently in Germany. Both very original MFI cars and both had the early decals.
