Thread: Where to stick Weltmeister sticker?

    Shell decal

    After checking a substantial number of engine bay pics, I found both yellow/white and red/yellow Shell decals to be used on early 911's. Also RS engines were delivered with yellow/white decal....
    Don't know where this puts our conclusion on "owiginality" of the yellow/white one.

    It probably shows Chuck was/is right on the separate Shell topic below!
    Now how to find out the exact switching date of the yellow/red to the white/yellow one..

    Like headrests, maybe Factory used both decals intermittently?
