    Blaupunkt Coburg

I have a D-series Blaupunkt Coburg radio for my 72S, but B.Johnson's guide to Authenticity states that Coburg was only for 73 cars. Can anybody clarify? Which month of 1972 did D-series Blaupunkt radios came out?

    Regards,
    Ian (new to board)

    Ian,
Brett's book is great, but not 100% accurate. The Coburg was probably correct for your car.

    das radio

D-series is correct for 72. C for 71, and B code for 70. The B code ones I have seen have the Fm start with the high bands on the left and the lower FM freg. to the right of the tuner. Code doesnt matter as long as it looks correct, because several codes may look identical.
