    911T Distributor

Does anyone know if the distributor from a 1969 911T, 2.0 liter, with weber carbs will work with a 1970 911T, 2.2 liter, weber carbed engine.

    The 69T was using a Marelli distributor, S 112 Bx. This was replaced in 1970 OR 1971 sometime by a Bosch JFDR6 0231 159 008.
The Marelli is now NLA, PLUS all the wear items like cap, rotor, etc are VERY unavailable. Hope you have the Bosch. I believe that early cars can be changed to Bosch.
Another detail of these years was that the 69T did NOT hace the CD ignition from the factory, but it was added in later years, possibly in coincidence the Bosch Distributor was installed..

    911T Distributor

    Hello

AFIK all 1969 to 1973 911 T had Marellis from the factory. The 2,4 had a other type.

CDI came with all 69 on 2,2L cars ( ROW )

The replacment for the Marellis is a Bosch 184 type like used in all 2,7 CIS (ROW).

    Grüsse
