    Winter hibernation

It is time to put my baby to bed for the winter (I wish I could go south like the geese). Can anyone tell me the best method for preseving an early 'S' over the winter months?

    winter hibernation

I just getting ready to put my 71 S down for the winter I just change oil did my yearly valve adjustment, check the battery water Top the fuel tank added a bottle of fuel stabilizer also about 3 years ago i installed a unit on the batterys to keep them from sulfating and havent had any run down batterys but i am still running the stock radio, If you have new style radio with a code system you might want pull the fuse on the radio to keep the batterys up. I also recomend you bring your tire preasure up 5lbs for storage it helps keeping them from flat spotting. If you leave in a costal area where you have lots of moist air you may want too buy asborent for the inteior of the car too keep moisture levels down, Otherwise throw the cover on it wish sweat dreams and short winter. Good luck Phil
