    does anybody know how to adjust a voltage regulator. 72 motorola setup. i put in fresh gel batteries and i need to get the voltage down to 13.6-13.8v, so i don't cook them off. thanks

    the regulator i have works correctly, but the 14.6 volts output will fry my new dry fit batteries. i need to know which way to bend the tabs to lower the output voltage. the mechanical regulators are adjustable.

    i hate to experiment, but it looks like i'm going to have to. the question got shuned on the pelican forums. time to take the batteries out of the truck and get the needle nose out.
