    67 vintage racer

If I convert a short wheel base 2.0L into a 1969 body add 1mm overbore and use carbs, would it still run in the same class as a 1967 911.

The 69 has a longer wheelbase ( about 2 1/4" ) and the rear fender wheel openings are different (further back). It's a lot of work to change the rear suspension and body work. Why not just go to a 69T?
