Rear wiper for early 911

Curt? Touche! If anybody can tell you how to reach complete nostalgia, it's Jeff. And what amazes me most is that he was in diapers when these cars were built.

I agree the rear wiper is a must, I have installed several in early cars with all NOS parts, most of the job is easy but the car must be on a lift to do the cable through the tunnel properly, or the engine should be removed in order to have easy access to the tunnel. Iam getting ready to install one in my 71S with A/C, but Iam working out the clearance issues with the rear condenser and will have to use a modified late style wiper arm shaft..........it might rain in Monterey.

Jeff...what is the correct color ??? The one I purchased at the Lit show seems to be very original and has an aluminum finish ..??

The color should match the front wipers, the kit you have is a real early one. I have the info for installation with part nunbers for switch and harnesses.

It sounds like you have a short wheel base version and with a silver rear wiper it appears in is pre 68. Most of the kit is the same, obviously the rear wiper arm and blade are different, but all three wiring harnesses are different between your car (72) and the required harnesses used in the pre 68 cars.
