Question weber IDS carbs - jetting

Who out there has info concerning IDS 40 jetting ---> 68 engine.
What has worked for you as a street/autocross set-up?

Also, feedback on ignition set-ups for the above system... what have you guys learned?

Hope to have some answers so that project remains on schedule.

    Thanks, JON 67 911s with 68 engine.

I can't remember my jetting on the '67S at the moment, I'd have to go out and tear in to them to check, it's been too long. I'm sure there are others on the board who can give you a good starting setup. I have wanted to change to bigger venturis and try the tall booster venturis from the 906, but so far have left the carbs stock.

I do remember going to an electronic ignition setup, using an MSD 6AL with a custom Crane trigger (my mechanic fabricated an adapter and used a bigger distributor cap to fit the unit, as I remember). Much improved spark over the stock ignition, no more plug fouling.

    Jon-

Check this thread on the PP board for jetting info. Look at the chart posted there for the "happy 2.0S" engines. That will give you some setup ideas.
