Setting the front control arm bushing brackets for my 1970 911 S

    Good Evening Everyone,

I am looking for some guidance on installing new front and rear bushings on my front control arms. After removing the control arms, I set the cross arm @ zero degrees in my bench vice and then checked the angle of the front bushing bracket. On the right side I got 35.5 degrees and on the left side I got 34 degrees. On the rears I got 22.5 degrees and 21 degrees respectively.

I understand if I buy the bushings from Elephant Racing, they will give you instructions as to what the proper settings for those brackets relative to zero on the cross arm.

However, I already bought bushings from Pelican Parts. Can anyone help me with the correct settings in degrees for the front and rear for my car?

    Cordially,

    Gary

Go to the Elephant web site. They have some links to their videos. Good stuff.
