Color of oil pipes trought right rocker (69S 70S 71S) ?

    Hello All,

May I ask you what would be the color of 2.2S oil pipes connected to the front cooler inside rocker ?

Are they paint or not ?

Mine (inside rocker) seems to be black semi gloss paint. Parts under the wheel arches maybe received final color paint

Oil pipes have got a "glue canvas"on the corners which are on front of the rear wheel. They are located inside rear rocker panel support .

Coud you confirm you may have them on yours ?

    Thank you
    Manu

I wanted to point out that they were never dismantled from the chassis. just lightly cleaned for one of them.

    Thanks for your help.

The majority of untouched that I’ve seen and extract had semi gloss black. I have one set that appear to have been hand painted in position before the outer rocker was applied. This was on an early 70S I parted.
My 69S line are sprayed black before they were installed.
Since they were a permanent part of the chassis, body paint overspray appears on them behind the front fender join panel and undercoat drops with black hand applied paint in the rear area.
