Help, need to confirm part originality.

I'm considering this front trim strip, seller says it came from Automotion about 10 years ago and had a sticker with part # 901.505.045.51 on it.

Can anyone tell from the seller's pics if it's OEM or a reproduction??

The ends look slightly different than the OEM piece I have now - a little rounder perhaps. Also, one side looks more tapered than the other(?).

    Thanks in advance!

    Jared,

I'm told the S trim was a single piece. This looks like the repro as you can see the seam right on the pic. I dont' have one close up, but here's mine:

I'll try to get a better pic sometime next wek, but my sched's pretty crazy and the car is about to head up to the shop in Sonoma for final assembly.

Actually, just relooked at the '73S (silver) on ebay (see shawn's post under General Info). Its got a good close up pic of the one piece deco trim on that silver car. The blown up one if on the dealer's web site www.californiaclassics.com

According to my PET the rubber protective strip is one piece with the part number you quote above. Looks like that is a repro.
