Better look into that some more. You actually retard timing with twin plugs. You will have a crisper motor- cleaner running (less missing from misfires), be able to run lower octane gas, and get a small HP gain, but it will be tiny per dollar spent.

    I want one too, though.

Advanced.... retarded (thats me). This is why I write the checks and let someone else drive the wrench (although I'm learning). The main reason I did the twin plugs in the first place was for the better driveability (same w/the Elgin modified S cam although it does have better top end as well). This will be my daily driver when done, so maybe I'll end up with one of the modern crankfire systems. I just really love the look of a 12 plug dist. If they are really expensive, and I'll have to replace them every so often, it may not make sense. Anyhow, thanks for the liks and info.

    Hi Chris,
I had to dig down into my stuff but I found a web site for RACER PARTS WHOLESALE They sell it.
    www.racerpartswholesale.com
They are in Indianapolis, In. Then I used Tayler plug wires.

    and so it begins...

Another 12 plug engine is created. A monster in the making. The hp gains come slowly and steadily...a tolerance for the wild engine demands more and more hp until....R Gruppe membership?

Ha Ha Ha. Chris, before you know it, you will be looking for a cheap 911T to host a larger engine. Shawn

I know, I know! My hands are shaking just looking at that 12 Plug Distributor cap! I have to have one. I MUST have one. Arghhh. I can hear my wife's divorce lawyer now (if I spend the money), saying how she's entitled to half the distributor cap!

The ironic thing is that I did send in my RGruppe Membership form last week. Stay tuned....we'll see if I'm worthy.

    Another twelve plug...plug.

Here is another 12 plug car. It is a thread on Pelican, very sweet car. Apparently $100K invested.

I was concidering the creation of a similar R Gruppe car club. For the R Gruppe rejects and wanna be's (for the less than 200hp folk's out there)...could call us the "early car hooligans"
