    Question Strut Upgrade for SWB (1968)

    I want to upgrade my struts to the 3.5" type spacing. Anybody have any ideas for a this upgrade path? Any info would be a plus, thanks in advance.

    Might as well buy a whole front end out of a wrecked Carrera and swap it all out. You'll end up with better brakes, better ball joints, a lighter crossmember, etc., for little more than the cost of new struts and shocks. I've seen them go for $800 or so...

    Carrera front-end question...

    Thanks for the reply:

    Does a Carrera front-end require any body modifications, welding, etc.? Will it bolt right in?

    It's a bolt on. The only welding that might be required is to put a U-tab on the A-arms for the droplinks from your front sway bar if you have one.
