    Horn question

I am trying to remove the plastic horn 'butterfly' on my RS to change the rubber horn spring underneath. This seems like a stupid question, but do you remove it by taking off the 3 nuts in the center of the plastic butterfly?

From a previous thread I learned that RS cars built before Feb 6th '73 were delivered with a plastic instead of metal piece. I have removed all three nuts and have tried to remove the plastic piece and it won't move. I don't want to try and force it off if it is not supposed to come off that way. Thanks.

    Brian-
If it's like the other '73 wheels, you rotate the horn ring (counterclockwise, I think) about a quarter turn to remove it. No unbolting necessary.

    Tom,

Thanks, that did the trick. I'm so glad I didn't do something stupid like trying to pry it off and break it.
