    SuperCar Classics article, Jan 1988

This article was mentioned in another thread. I dug out my copy and scanned the article about this RS

    Cool article.

It's interesting to see a 1988 journalist's take on a firm suspension (19/24 t-bars are firm?! -- check out that body roll in the pictures!) and 'curious' brakes. Half a second of hesitation on braking is a good reason to go through the system before you do any more driving.

But it's the lack of familiarity with the model that also gives the article a unique perspective. It's an outsider looking in at the RS world, which -- as these cars get rarer and more valuable -- we don't often see.

    Nick!
Due to computer problems [and it's acting up again] I had not been able to post in a while.

Appreciate your sharing this great info. I used to get every copy that I could find here in NCal. It was often difficult and I missed several issues. That magazine gave wonderful insight on the reality of owning/driving most of the more interesting cars we love [not just Porsches]. That particular article inspired me to seek out another RS at a time when I thought they had become unaffordable. It was worth it!

    Thanks a bunch.
