Does anyone have any good pictures of "sand beige"? I can't imagine why, but there doesn't seem to be many of them around.

Here is a '67S Soft-window Targa that is Sand Beige (code 6607). Very nice, mostly original car but the color is uninspiring in my opinion.

I knew you guys would want to see a few photos of the Softy.

    Josep,

It's not for sale yet. As you can see in the background this owner has many Porsches, so it will just a matter of time until he wants to sell it. Despite the color I will hopefully will have the first chance to buy it when that time comes. He has offered to let me drive it but that will have to wait until Spring.

Isn't the 911L the US version of an S for 1968?

You guys are further infecting the board with the "softie" disease! Now I want one too!!!

The L was a 1968 model only, made due to the fact that Porsche could not homologate the S in the US that year.

    Back to the pics.

Here's a couple more side views, but I'm guessing on the colors. Will need confirmation! (Brian).

    Bahama Yellow?

    Adriatic Blue?

BTW Winnie - Regarding your concern for too many posted pics; I'm posting these from my server - so not eating up BBS space. More fun to post here for all to see, we just can't seem to get enough pics. Can't wait to see it all put together on your site, you'll get lots of hits I'm sure!
