I don't want to pick the car apart here. You have found some of the details already. The point was the price paid for the car shown, which please don't get me wrong is still a very nice car.Top of the world cars will just be more $$$.

    Rob,
Selling cars back to Europe is the thing to do right now, from a purely financial standpoint. The dollar is very weak against the euro and the pound, and the Europeans are hot to bring back cars that can be used in historic events like the Tour Auto. Low interest rates are good for just about everybody, but they (along with a growing trade deficit) are largely responsible for the weak dollar.

    rs

i guess we're all right; the cars are more disrable;the $ is weaker, but the real point is supply and demand. check the web site in the classifieds, there hasn't been an exceptional car for months. i think i might know i would have bought it.i bought 5 early 911's and a rs in the last 5 months and can't find a great car to buy. i'm in the process of building an eight car garage, and am still look to buy some great cars. the well is getting dry. you all know it's our fault;we go on and on about how great these early 911s are,and then we're suprised that other people want them,we can't have it both ways

It's nobody's business what cars I own. I will tell you one thing though, they're air cooled and I beat 'em like they owe me money.
