Basketweave on the door and dash panels is correct from 69'-71'
Fine grain on the door and dash panels is correct for 72'-73'

So yes, your door panels should match the dash panels. In general from 68' thru 73' the door and dash panels always match. Before then this wasn't the case. The earliest cars had wood grain dash and fine grain door panels and the 67'S had Basketweave dash with fine grain door panels.

Your seats are also correct for 73'. Perforated bolsters with basketweave inserts.

P.S. On seats the outer panels are called bolsters and the inner panels are inserts.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.

I stand corrected. I was thinking of my 70 E door panels

Thanks for the info and definitions. I`m used to 356 nomenclature, rather than 911.
