I watched a program on the History Channel called "The Untold Story of the Little Bighorn" The only revelation is that Custer was on a high ridge and saw Reno retreat, and could have gone to his aid. If he did so he would have likely won the battle and scattered the indians. Other than the program was short on information and detail.

"Lakota Noon" is the book that puts the Indian narative into a comprehensiable story about what happened. excellent book about what happened at the Custer massacre.


Also spent the last 2 days at the Beinfield Antique Gun show at the Riviera Hotel here in LV. Met the formost authority on Wyatt Earp, he's published a biography on Wyatt. Volume 1 is a 1000 pages long and only takes you up through the Cowtown years. Very interesting...he has come to the conclusion that Wyatt Earp was paid $3000 by Wells Fargo under the table to clean up Tombstone.
