    battery(s) charging

    do you use a trickle charger?..brand?...how do I use for our twin battery set ups?...thnx

    I use a generic trickle charger that is 1.5 amp that maintains the voltage at a constant 12.5. During the less driven months, there is a draw which eventually takes them down below cranking power (clock, CD player, and the ??? draw). Griots Garage sells a $60.00 model which you might consider

    The batteries are wired in tandem - when you charge one you charge the other.

    from the single battery guy...

    Century 1.5 amp on board trickle charger with auto shut off. A must have for winter challenged group.

    Pic available here. Pay no attention to the orange spots, they now reside at the bottom of my shop vac.
