Thread: '67 911R clone?

the PO installed a carb'd 2.2 which is currently running like a champ. can't justify a swap at this point. however, i am going to either install a 2.0S or 3.0 someday. more pictures of decals/scripts:

Bob...the (now old and period correct) gold & blue Cali plates add a nice touch!

Absolutely beautiful car. What manner of rear bumpers are those? Painted originals or a composite of some type?

If I were to guess, I'd say it's a stock bumper set up, but the bumperetes are painted silver instead of chrome. Also, the trim is deleted from the right and left corners. Real sano look.

    I asked the same question....

when Bob had posted his car on the pelican board. Standard painted bumperettes with 356 reflectors was his answer.

A stunning car done on a budget. Very creative lightweight recreation without the removal of the bumperettes.

    Me likes, Shawn.

    thanks guys.

shawn is correct about the bumpers. didn't want to deal with fibreglass bumper since the car has 69-73 flares on all 4 corners. shawn and i will be trading cars as i am a fan of his car as well .

i make my living on the mac. gotta love them.

anyway i feel like i am disrespecting ckissick's topic. i had posted the debut of my car on pelican a week ago as it just got back from the bodyshop. there are more detailed pics there.
