    Am I crazy....opinions welcome

The more I look at my 70"S", the more I dont like the looks of the later "S" spoiler on the front. I just think that the car looks kinda unbalanced and I think that once I get the Magnesium Americans on the car that a original front valance might look more period correct. On the other hand, it is an original steel spoiler and I hate to take it off. Here is my car....

Yes. You are crazy. From what I can see, your S looks unspoiled. I suggest you leave it that way.

Cris's car is just an earlier incarnation....thus that's why it looks the way it does...also the fact that it's his "RGruppe hotrod" and not totally correct as it came from the factory.

IMHO....I don't know why you would want to mess with perfection.

    As always...just my .02

But thats kinda my point Rizzy, the 70"S" didnt come with that type of spoiler anyway. So the standard valance would be correct.

In my opinion, the T valence looks better on cars without trim. I think the S spoiler looks better when you have the deco trim, though. It also looks better on a black car.

That's what happens when a car is finally dialed in. You start thinking too much.

Leave it alone - time to "lift the brush" on this work of art.

I like the earlier valance better. Great palce to shove some fog lights. But, I personally wouldn't reverse a 72 or 73 car. I was talking to a friend of ours about this a couple of weeks ago. He was saying his dad wanted to fit an early valance on his extremely, near perfect, original 73E. Since then the car has found a safer home and escaped the molestation.
