    Hello,

I have an interested buyer and would like to get an approximate value for
    my OE Blaupunkt Frankfurt.

Tom, I may be having email problems...maybe this is a good way to get this link to you? A European seller of the old radios, may give you some pricing ideas...Paul

    Hello,

as you can see in our page, a perfect condition early 70's Frankfurt has a value about $300-$350.

It may be higher in case you have original documents.

    Person to Person

    Tom:

Josep has excellent selection of radios to sell. But to be honest, I have found radios less expensively. Two months ago, I bought a Blaupunkt Frankfurt (USA version) directly from the seller for $150. It is in excellent condition, and even had the plastic cap still on the back connector and the paper tag on the side. It included the faceplate. But no manual. Not that this was a problem, since my wrench has a pristine manual that he is giving me.

I may have gotten a great deal, but that at least gives you a range on pricing. My wrench bought one about the same time, in good condition for $135, but no faceplate. I had an offer for another one at $150, but the dial was foggy. Its a matter of willing buyer and accomodating seller.

    Just my experience and $.05.

I have 2 very nice original Becker Grand Prix's, 1 extremely nice Becker Europa and 1 Blaupunkt Frankfurt and I'd give them all away to make the antenna hole in my car disappear. Anybody know David Copperfield?

I could care less for a radio but like I said the hole's already there.

    Tom

PS: I could go for a Mexico!

Tom, you got it all wrong, you don't put the radio back in these cars for the Tunes, you do it for the LOOK!!!

For sound, get yerself a set of earbuds and an MP3 player.

Thanks to all for the feedback.
Forgot to mention that I also have the original manual in pristine condition
and several other manuals: "Autoradio Service international", and OE service
    and installation literature.
Radio has plastic plug in back, and all original stickers including a funky
    electrical schematic on the top.
All in all I'd give it a 8.5-9+ rating.
Not sure what he is willing to pay so it may be "on the market".
Came out of my once bone stock 73 911 coupe.
Given the effort, time and money put into the present R Gruppe car I think
it very unlikely I would ever opt to go back.
Even had my radio antenna hole eliminated.

p.s. have all the same stuff, out of my 914-6 but those I am keeping for now.
