Harvey's Fuchs..Make My Work Look Good

I always look forward to seeing Harvey's finished Fuchs along side my paint work. The color on this 1970 Targa is Tangerine in Glasurit single-stage.

    Freddie,
I had a great drive home over Marsh Creek Rd. The car looks beautiful and is running amazingly well after her extended vacation. Thanks for all your effort last year and over the past few weeks getting the car in top shape and back on the road. I definitely plan on making up for lost time by driving her at every opportunity (maybe even an autocross just for kicks; don't worry, she'll be fine). Thanks also to Harvey. The wheels look fabulous. Over a year after Harvey finished them, with Freddie's help I finally get to enjoy your quality work.

Bud, The steering wheel is a Nardi, but isn't original. As much as I like the look, the rewrapped original leather wheel will be going on soon to join Tony Garcia's incredible houndstooth seats.

C4, Can you share the sorce for that wheel? I to have had my wheel wrapped by Tony and nothing could compare to the feel and look, but may want to put that style Nardi wheel on from time to time for fun.

    Thanks!

Doug, I failed to mention that your car made the MartinezPatch magazine. Yesterday as I cruised through Martinez looking for spot to take pictures of your car, a photographer jumped out in front of your car and stopped traffic to take a few pictures...the car got lot's of attention the Glasurit single stage had them looking twice.

I got the Nardi wheel from an eBay seller several years ago. Looks like he's still selling them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...ht_3173wt_1340
I got the billet hub and enamel Porsche horn button and ring from Classico Wheels. They cost more than the wheel, but are quality pieces. http://classicowheels.com/index.htm
It probably would have been easier to just get the complete package from Classico Wheels.
