    RS on track

    Hi folks,

Been away from this message board 6 weeks and I can't believe the amount of RS related threads I had to go through. So another one, just a couple of pictures of my Christmas trackday in Holland. I had fun!!!

Now there's a color that's rarely seen on an RS

And it looks great on the track.

Wow, that is the most beautiful RS I have evr seen, and some of the best track pictures, too! Who is the photographer, what was the track, do you have any more pictures, etc...

Thanks for the compliments! The pictures were taken on X-mas during the yearly track day with the Dutch Porsche Club. They call it the anti-boring-X-mas day. We were driving in two groups, each 4 stints of 30 minutes, and as fast as you like. One group with race prepared cars (RS replica's, 2 964 RSR's, GT2, Turbo's), the other stock road cars (944's, all sorts of 911's). The track is located in Zandvoort, close the coast in the Netherlands, a former F 1 circuit.
The photographer is a friend of mine, Olaf Kraak, who works for the Dutch Press Agency ANP. These pictures were to best out of a couple of hundreds shots he took.
More on the car, most of you have already seen some pictures. It's in See Blau, or Dalamtian Blue, original Italian, apart from a respray almost complete original. From a distance it looks very nice, but not as nice as Dick's white RS! I drive it more often than I pamper it, went to Toscany on holiday, loaded with camping gear and bottles of wine on the way back. It did even a terrific job transporting a X-mas tree in it!

Next year I want to do a proper respray of the car, change out some chrome work, new head lights, new front screen. All cosmetical stuff to get it really up to standard. But for now, I enjoy driving it whenever I am home. I work abroad for the company that overcharged the US government petrol prices in Iraq, so I can't see/drive the car daily. But this board keeps me satisfied.
