The driver of this car was Jeff Gamroth. Jeff was the crew chief of the GT class winner at last years LeMans. Jeff is the owner of Rothsport the shop that built this car for Page Stevens and also Barret Smith's car.

Thanks for a wonderful account of great cars. It's always great to put names to the car's faces. What a day you all had! We are surely envious.

    Back in Vermont

    I'm with ya Jens.......
    Steve and Earl, great posts.
Jeff Gamroth wanted to give me something to think about on the plane ride home, so he took me out in the 3.8 varioram.
All I can say is that the car was the most savage beast I have ever ridden in. It will dust the 959 up to 150 ! Jeff's freind who he built the car for also has a F-40, F-50, and the new Enzo. Jeff says this 3.8 is faster that all them them except the Enzo. One of the more impressive parts of the ride was Gamroth's driving ability!
Tom, Barrett, Steve, Thanks for the great meal at the Portland Brewery. Schmidt.........thanks for the use of your couch !

    BRAVO!

What a tremendous assemblage of beautiful cars. Definitely some lust objects - especially one with bulging blue fenders. Gotta love all those early cars.

Didn't see a post of the meet in the Pelican NW board... unless you're trying to keep the Seattle area riff-raff out. then I understand.

I called Linden to come down, I figured he would call you, an invite of either one of you is an invite to both. We are already talking about a big meet in the June time frame.

Since I'm not a mindreader and neither is Eric, I just sent you my telephone number in a PM. If I don't answer, let it ring until you can leave a message on my voice mail. I check it every day. Thanks.

June is good as long as it doesn't coincide with the weekends before or during the Speedster Anniversary in Monterey. Oh ya baby!
