Actually, Randy, the only two tires that size I ever ran on my car were the old BFG R-1 and the Yoko A-008RSII. This was before I flared it. I had no problems with either one, but did have uprated T-bars, ARBs, 1.5 degrees negative camber and had to roll the fender lips. I have seen other people fit them OK on the left side but not the right. Maybe my car is golden. With the RS flares, I can run a 23x10.5-16 Goodyear slick on an 11" rim by just pulling the lip out 1/4".

A local autocrosser here had his stock '73E set up with the Hoosier 225/45-15 R3S03s on 7s and they worked fine for him also.

    7R's

    Edwin,
    FWIW, I've been running 7R's front and rear with 5/16" spacers. Before with 205 x 50 008's, now with 205 x 60 AVS Intermediates.

6.5 mm factory spacer with use of 215-60-15 tires in the rear, same in the front unless you remove the strut dust cover.
