    Engine Compartment Sheetmetal

I want to strip and powercoat the engine compartment sheetmetal as close as possible to original on a '68 S. I assume
that semi-gloss is appropriate. I would also like to get the fan done. If those of you who have done this can offer guidance, I
would appreciate your input. Thanks, Jim

I have had my sheet metal powder coated satin black. The fan and housing was beadblasted and clear powder coated

Semi gloss on the sheetmetal. You won't regret it as the stuff is as tough as leather and takes abuse pretty well (doesn't chip).
I powdercoat everything these days from motorcycle frames to cylinder jugs on the same.

    Good luck,

    Tom
