This picture was already element of different threads but can anyone identify the model year of the manufactured cars? Surely SWBs, but which year?

From a couple of details, I think it's late 66 or 67. Pre-heat vents on the snorkels on the blue car (left) bend toward the opening, indicating a 67MY 912.

Interesting, The two 912 engines on the right side of the picture seem to have the wire mesh air filters, but the one on the right seemingly hanging in mid air has the snorkels.

Aren't the 2 912 engine euro spec with fresh air heat?
Lest someone confuse me with being an expert, which I am not, I have to disclose that I am basing my observations largely on what I have learned from Dr. Johnson's book, 911 & 912 Porsche, A Restorer's Guide to Authenticity. Having said that, there are some details that suggest the model year is 1966 (later 65, into 66 build). Here are the details that lead me to this conclusion:
1. First red car appears to have the 2-screw hole horn grills - 4-screw horn grills were on early model year 1966 (probably before mid-1965 build date; Dr. Johnson reports first 2-screw horn grill in his records was VIN 303468)
That provides a no-earlier-than period of build date of mid-1965 (for model year 1966).
2. The decklid grilles are correct for pre-1968 model year decklids.
That provides a no-later-than period of model year 1967.
3. The same red car does not appear to have the 911/912 emblem in the center of the decklid grille, just below it. Although I can't tell, it is either not installed or located in the bottom lower right-hand corner of the decklid. If so, than it is a 1966 model year (1967 emblems were moved to the center, under the grille).
4. Bumper horns (bumperettes, bumper guards) are all chrome. Although front bumper horns were optional in 1966 on non-US cars, they were still all chrome (no rubber pad). The chrome bumper horns with the rubber pad became standard for model year 1967. The second red car (on the right, front-facing cars) has a dark area on the bumper horn, but because the width of the dark area does not seem to be the proper width (and off-center on the horn) I believe it is a reflection in the chrome and not a rubber pad.
5. The engine number from the first rear-facing car places that in the range of engines associated with a VIN for a 1966 model year car.
Okay, I made the last one up. I can't see an engine number. But, from observation 4, it appears to be a 1966 model year. The other observations support the same conclusion. And, the build period is probably later 1965 to mid-1966 (prior to the change to 1967 model year build).

There is a red shroud six in there which may push for the later '66/'67 dates.
