Northern California Event - June 5-6 for the Wine Country Classic Vintage Car Races

Any Northern California members interested in setting up a gathering at one of the vintage races this year at Sears Point (excuse me, Infineon Raceway)?

Oooh, oooh. I'm from down south. Can I still come?

I'd love to make the trek ... just gimme a date.

There are lots of vintage weekends during the year. However, the major vintage date for 2004 is June 5-6 for the Wine Country Classic Vintage Car Races. How's that sound?

My calendar says I'm free. I assume the shop won't take that long. I'm in.

I'm in Targa. I can bring a few more as well. We have gone the last few years to this event and its a blast. Having a caravan of early 911's and a parking corral would be great. I've seen a number of car clubs get roped off parking areas up on the hillside, but I'm not sure how they go about the logistics. Let me know if I can help out, but I probably don't have the time to be a primary organizer this year (new job and new baby).

If it's OK with everybody, I can make the initial contact with Infineon regarding a "corral".

I'm marking my calendar as we speak. But you've gotta promise the lone(ly) 914-6 a space in the corral

    Here's what I found out...

PCA already has a corral set up for June 6 at Turn 2. If we wish to have our own, we need at least 20 to sign-up by May 20.

We would get the same benefits:
Special Group Ticket Price: $20.00 ($25 at the gate)
A commemorative car pin for every car.

I've attempted to attach the general flyer. Let's see what the interest level is. Hopefully, we can have our own corral!
