    If reliability and longevity are the criteria, then it's a 2 liter T. It's the least stressed 911 engine ever made.

    I didn't say 'the criteria', did I? I said a high priority. What I meant is, maximum power/torque possible without hurting the reliability and longevity i.e. the good compromise. (And it must sound good )

    And I drove a 1.7 L Toyota Corolla - very little stress, and longevity like Rip Van Winkle. But fun? uuuuuhhhhhhh . . . . . . . . no.

    That's not to say that I would enjoy the $5 - $9K to do an engine rebuild every 4 or 5 years. But I'll bet you'll give a different answer if "fun" was in the equation.
